Hi everyone. Thought I'd intro myself, as I just got a
95 Savage, black and chrome, with 4600 miles on it. I was an SV650 rider till I got carried away with the awesome revs and wadded it on one of our mountain roads here in the Ozarks.
38 years riding, and yes, you can still get stupid!!
Anyhow, while sitting around fuming as my broken ribs healed, I saw the ad for the Savage. Hmmmmm. Went over and found it was comfortable to ride with the sore ribs, unlike anything else I've tried since "the awful day." So, I'm learning the joys of "low and slow" on the Savage. Not the same as the SV, certainly, but the little bugger's got its own brand of torquey charm, doesn't it? Glad I got it, I know that for sure!
